Recently Uber has began testing its first self driving car in Pittsburgh. The self-driving car on the streets right now is a Ford Fusion. The car has a trained driver who is monitoring its autonomous capabilities. The car has sensors, radar, laser scanners, and a hi-res camera which are all collecting information for mapping purposes. Uber is in competition with Google, Tesla, Apple, and Gm to see who can make autonomous driving a reality first.
